As proteins and peptides are complex and fragile molecules, there are formulation challenges that need to be overcome. Knowledge in this field is continually progressing and inhalation will become a convenient administration method for proteins and peptides, particularly for local delivery, in the future. In organic chemistry, peptide synthesis is the production of peptides, compounds where multiple amino acids are linked via amide bonds, also known as peptide bonds.Peptides are chemically synthesized by the condensation reaction of the carboxyl group of one amino acid to the amino group of another. Protecting group strategies are usually necessary to prevent undesirable side reactions with the ics or synthetic proteins. Our experts will support you in the design of your peptides and peptide derivatives. The aim of this guide is to present a general survey of the methods of peptide production, and to provide answers to the most frequently asked questions by the end user. This publication is focused on peptides used for research

Small peptides binds to Coomassie brilliant blue less readily that do larger proteins. Therefore, smaller peptides are difficult to detect using Coomassie or silver staining. The additional sample could be loaded to allow peptides to be visualized on gels; changing the percentage of the gel will only help if you think that your peptide migrated out gel.

Isoelectric focusing of peptides or proteins can be done in capillaries 8, 9, segmented tubes 10, 11, 12, gels or liquid compartments connected by a gel . In this work we have attempted to compare, with as little bias as possible, three very different and commonly used fractionation methods for two very different types of samples.
